Our client is an expanding manufacturer of Converting Equipment, Services and Custom Engineered Projects. Established in 1995, our USA made-machines are found in many of the factories that are household names across the US and abroad. They are a privately held company with approximately 20 employees. They design, build and service custom machines and provide converting services in house for various customers across the US. Their machines are known to be rugged, reliable and unique.
As the Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete controls engineering function related to custom converting machines. The controls engineer’s scope of work includes preparing electrical drawings, programming PLCs & HMIs, specifying control panel components for one of a kind machines and working with our team of electricians to facilitate assembly of the machine. The Controls Engineer will utilize successful designs from previous Pinnacle machines as well as generate completely new custom designs for next generation machines. The controls engineer will also participate in various design reviews within Pinnacle and potentially with clients.
The vast majority of Pinnacle’s products are web handling or slitting machines, so a strong background in drives and web tension control is necessary. Knowledge of automated machinery and web slitting is preferred.
