Your Unique Role

Join the world leader in Med Device Manufacturing to help grow your career as a hands on Quality Engineer
Reporting directly to Quality Manager, you will support mold and equipment qualifications and validation activities while working directly with process engineers, program managers and customer contacts while writing protocols and analyzing data in support of new projects.

  • Act as a resource to work groups and project teams, within the plant and outside the plant relative to quality and regulatory issues to support the injection molding department.
  • Provide technical input for projects using the application of FMEA’s, risk mitigation, plant validations, DOE’s and other experiments.
  • Formulate, review, and implement, policies and procedures relating to product quality and process control as appropriate.
  • Design and assist Production, Engineering and Division in the completion of new product/process evaluations including Hazard Analysis.
  • Work with Engineering, manufacturing, and customers to define inspection requirements for each new product.
  • Work with Metrology Personnel to develop fixturing and methodologies for new products and apply statistical techniques to develop and validate molding and value added.

Seeking a Candidate With:

  • B.S. or B.A. Degree in Science-related field, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent. Experience
  • Previous Quality Engineering experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Validations, IQ, OQ, PQ, and DOE's is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of QSR's/ISO 9000 and their application would be a plus.
  • Black Belt/Six Sigma training is highly desirable.
