They deliver a total solution with extensive molding capabilities including standard injection, structural foam, gas assist, insert and over molding and provide their customers with a broad selection of post molding options including painting, decorating, laser etching, EMI shielding, ultrasonic welding, spin welding, flame treating, product assembly and more.

Your Unique Role

Be the primary customer service advocate and champion and ensure the customer has a world class experience during the new business development phase.

 

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will take ownership in the customer experience, timeline and deliverables and ensures all members of the organization support the customer, project, and PSI objectives and remain engaged in all aspects of the project from initial award through and including safe launch period.

  • Lead cross functional team and facilitates the APQP process.
  • Facilitate cross functional tool design reviews and design approval from Director of Tooling and deliver turnkey tooling, systems, and production processes to the operations team ensuring all functional and dimensional issues are resolved prior to SOP.
  • Provide timeline updates to the customer as needed but at a minimum of every two weeks in a Gantt chart format.
  • Be an active participant in all tool samplings, must attend all in house tool samplings.
  • Provide customer support for any issues related to the assigned program(s).
  • Continue to be a technical resource supporting the project until the end of production and participate in customer Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Act as key contact with customers' auditors and being responsible for ensuring the execution of corrective actions and ongoing compliance with customers' specifications.

Seeking a Candidate With:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred), manufacturing engineering, or business or technical equivalent. (or relevant work experience)
  • Experience managing projects that involve injection molded plastics
  • Experience launching new programs with Tier I automotive suppliers or automotive customers is a plus
  • Tooling background would be a definite plus
