Your Unique Role
As a Mass Spectrometrist, you will report directly to the Group Leader for the R&D activities within the company’s organic light-emitting diode (OLED) business. As part of a 15-person team you will work cross functionally to develop new products in the OLED space. As an expert in mass spectrometry, you will design and carry out experiments independently. You will identify impurities using HPLC and UPLC methods.
- Lead development, validation, and optimization of mass spectrometry methods for analysis of OLED small molecules.
- Key contributor to the development and commercialization of new products
- Interface with business and technical collaborators to understand priorities, solve problems, and communicate findings
- You will ‘own’ your projects
- Recommend and implement process improvements

Seeking a Candidate With
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline (Analytical Chemistry preferred).
- - Masters or Bachelor’s degrees will be considered with additional pertinent experience.
- 1-5 years of industry experience with Ph.D.
- In-depth understanding of analytical chemistry with a mass spectrometry focus
- Ability to lead the development and implementation of mass spectrometry techniques to identify small molecule impurities
