Your Unique Role

Join the world leader in Med Device Manufacturing to help grow your career as a hands on Engineering Manager.


Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading the engineering team (6 engineers) and act as the lead technical resource for manufacturing processes, equipment, and capabilities.

  • Develop and execute a strategy for processing capabilities to meet the current and future needs of the company.
  • Facilitate the development of subject matter expertise for process development, process characterization, and validation.
  • Collaborate with other managers and departments to maintain alignment of all objectives.
  • Partner with operations to ensure proper support and prioritization to production on molding, assembly, and packaging process while being hands on troubleshooting process issues.
  • Provide leadership/Support to the APQP process working with Operations, Quality, and Program Managers to achieve launch of new products and processes.
  • Interface with customers and suppliers on process/tool matters, mold and fixture design, process studies and product quality issues
  • Support mold validations (IQ,OQ,PQ,) to ensure molds are capable of producing quality parts.

Seeking a Candidate With:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Plastics Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
  • Engineering/leadership experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment (Medical device or regulated industry preferred).
  • Manufacturing/process development, tooling, and customer interface experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream mapping, and Continuous Improvement Methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of Silicone Injection Molding a plus
  • Previous demonstrated success leading a technical team.
