NORTHEAST REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - REMOTE

Are you a seasoned sales professional with a passion for Injection Molding Machinery? Our client, a prominent manufacturer of Injection Molding Machinery, is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Regional Sales Manager. 

Your Unique Role

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to the growth of our product line.

  • Generate sales of Injection Molding Machinery within the assigned region, focusing on both new and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party representative companies to maximize sales opportunities and provide excellent customer support.
  • Achieve annual sales targets aligned with company objectives to increase market share.
  • Stay updated on product offerings and industry trends to provide valuable insights for product improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver quarterly sales reports, market analyses, and forecasts for the assigned region.
  • Participate in exhibitions and promotional activities to showcase our products and attract potential customers.
  • Conduct after-sales visits to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term loyalty.
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on the performance of 3rd party representatives and assist in selecting new representatives as needed.
  • Assist in credit collection efforts and identify any financial risks associated with customers.

Seeking a Candidate With:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years in Injection Molding Machinery sales; additional experience in servicing, operating, or designing such machinery is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in understanding Injection Molding Machinery, including electric, hybrid, and all other types of machines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with various stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills to effectively pitch products and solutions to potential clients.
  • Ability to analyze market data, develop sales strategies, and execute sales plans.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Injection Molding Machinery market and competitive landscape.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and the ability to manage costs, pricing, and margins effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable deals for the company.
  • Commitment to safeguarding the intellectual property and brand integrity of the products.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficiency in travel planning and coordination to ensure timely customer visits.
  • Basic proficiency in office automation tools such as Microsoft Office and smartphones.

Location Information

  • Based in the North Eastern Region of the USA, this position offers the flexibility of a home office setup within the region or the option to work from their base in Iberia, Ohio.
