Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will plan, organize, direct, and control manufacturing operations across 3 locations. You will lead the production team and labor force by coordinating support from Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Human Resources. You will also be responsible for controlling planned outputs such as productivity, budget spending, labor efficiency, material utilization, scrap control and overall safety of the three plants.

  • Monitor and manage production processes to achieve established goals and ensure customer product delivery goals are met.
  • Analyze production requirements and future growth to plan and allocate machine and labor resources effectively, ensuring optimal productivity and scalability.
  • Monitor and evaluate workflow methods for process improvements while coordinating production initiatives with cross-functional requirements.
  • Safety: Enforce strict safety regulations and work practices, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including environmental standards, and prepare reports for upper management and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and customers, ensuring supply chain efficiency and addressing customer feedback and concerns.

Seeking a Candidate With:

  • Previous leadership in an Injection molding manufacturing environment
  • Solid background of technical Injection Molding preferred (or any type of plastics manufacturing)
  • Experience implementing lean six sigma projects in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Success in leading teams, including consensus building, openness to new ideas, and the ability to motivate
