Reporting directly to the President, you will oversee the design and development of new products, utilizing CAD solid modeling software, and perform structural analysis, conduct Moldflow analysis, and ensuring tooling design and procurement.

  • Utilize Siemens NX 3D, Catia or Solid Works CAD modeling software for new product development and design.
  • Perform structural analysis using Ansys Mechanical FEA to assess product strength, deflection, and stress.
  • Conduct Moldflow analysis with Moldex3D software to understand plastic flow behavior during molding.
  • Oversee the procurement process, establish technical specifications, and provide technical support for injection molding machines.
  • Offer technical support and training on plastic resins, colors, and additives and Issue QC spec sheets detailing critical dimensions and tolerances for product manufacturing.

Seeking a Candidate With:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX 3D CAD, Catia and/or Solid Works modeling software.
  • Knowledge of Moldex3D software for Moldflow analysis.
  • Strong understanding of tooling design and procurement processes.
  • Experience in providing technical support and training in a tool shop environment.
  • Knowledge of plastic resins, colors, and additives.
