Your Unique Role
As a Group Leader in the organic light-emitting diode (OLED) business unit, you will be responsible for all R&D activities. You will lead a team of 5-6 scientists, multiple projects, and be responsible for customer-facing communications in the development and commercialization of new products.
- Lead the development of robust processes for the target compounds that will allow scaling to production equipment.
- Lead the development of alternate synthetic routes to target molecules, and modify reactants or equipment as necessary.
- Represent the voice of the customer with your team, and communicate with customers in the development of products and processes.
- Solve complex chemical problems which may arise during process development, optimization, or scale-up.
- You will use modern research tools such as EasyMax, PolyBlock, Continuous Flow Reactors, and in-situ process monitoring.

Seeking a Candidate With
- Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry with 5+ years’ experience. BS/MS in Organic Chemistry with 8+ years’ experience.
- 5+ years’ experience with synthetics organic chemistry in fine chemicals or APIs and their intermediates.
- Experience in process development and scale-up of new chemical entities.
- Customer-facing experience in a technical capacity.
