About The Company

A “Hyper-Growth” company founded in 1997 by PVC professionals determined to meet the global quality challenges facing the industry. After growing successfully for 19 years, in 2016 they were acquired by private equity taking on new product development and geographic expansion, from two manufacturing facilities to five. They have a reputation for manufacturing the highest quality advanced polymers, custom plastics, and compounds for applications in siding, deck and rail, window & door, recreational, automotive, wire and cable, battery, and footwear. With new product innovations in 1600 new products the company has one of the most comprehensive product lists in the industry. It includes rigid and flexible PVC compounds, TPR, TPE, TPO, CPE alloys, LSOH, SBS, SEBS, PVC/acrylic alloys, and foam compounds. Also offering flame retardant concentrates, purging compounds and color matching.

 

In the past three years, they have added 150 new customers!

Your Unique Role

The Regional Sales Manager reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales, due to an eventual retirement you will manage existing accounts but will also be a “hunter” of new business and a key driver for growth. You will be responsible for the sales of all products in the company’s portfolio in the region defined as the Midwest IL, WI, MN.

  • You will work from a home office and travel about 70% (Home office provided)
  • $700/month Car allowance - plus, mileage
  • You will develop a Sales pipeline build of more than 10M pounds in 12 months.
  • You will grow regional volume from 15M to 18M million pounds annual run rate in 18 months (about one and a half years) and deliver material margin dollars of a minimum of $5M per year.
  • You will aggressively locate and add new accounts to increase territory share position using value selling to maximize sell price at or above market price levels.
  • You will Manage all pricing implementations with management guidance and provide feedback from territory on competitive challenges/opportunities --this includes all pricing communications to customers.
  • Provide recommendations to technical, R&D and marketing for new product development.

Seeking a Candidate With

  • Must be strong technically regarding polymer compounds and PVC compounding is a plus.
  • A ‘book’ of existing relationships without violating any non-compete obligations is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum five years’ selling polymer compounds
  • Travel required within region up to 70% of the time
