Your Unique Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager for our Plastic and Rubber division to lead a team of Sales Area Managers across the markets in North America, including the USA, Canada, Mexico, and Central America. Reporting functionally to the Global Sales Division for the Plastic segment, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in achieving sales targets, fostering professional growth within the team, and expanding our market presence in the region.

 

As the Regional Sales Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving agreed-upon sales targets in terms of volume, margin, and product mix.
  • Nurturing the professional development of your team members.
  • Building and maintaining business relationships with existing partners, OEMs, and customers, while also establishing new contacts to drive the company's growth in the assigned region.
  • Collaborating with your team to set annual sales volume targets (Sales Budget) for submission to the Global Sales Division Manager.
  • Providing quarterly sales volume forecasts for the upcoming four quarters.
  • Developing sales strategies in alignment with market demands, in consultation with the sales management team.
  • Offering guidance to Area Sales Managers to maintain existing sales channels and explore new avenues.
  • Assisting the marketing team by gathering information for new product development and staying updated on market trends.

Seeking a Candidate With:

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or an equivalent field, along with extensive experience in sales management, particularly with companies that manufacture machinery and equipment for plastic transformation and auxiliary processes.

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in plastic processes, especially injection molding.
  • Proven experience in sales management within the Plastics industry.
  • Flexibility and the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines independently.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Good working knowledge of essential software applications, such as Google, Word, and Excel.
  • Competence in using IT tools for conducting commercial activities and coordinating with corporate functions.
