Your Unique Role
This is a highly visible role within a key business unit responsible for managing the quality systems for a manufacturing plant that produces mission critical products for the military and aerospace industries. These products must meet and exceed standards for these applications.
The position will be responsible for ISO9001 certification & audits, product testing, and the supervision of the Quality lab, Packaging, Shipping, and Receiving Departments. Additional Plant Management responsibilities will also be required in this role (i.e.: safety, operations, etc.) and will assume the Site Leader role when needed.
Seeking a Candidate With
You must be a driven manufacturing leader with the ability to engage the staff and drive continuous improvements
- Excellent organizational skills and proven experience leading quality teams, ISO audits, and corrective actions.
- Experience within acrylics, plastics and/or technology that serves the military or aerospace markets, or similarly regulated environment
- Degree required – training in Lean, 5S, 6Sigma, etc. is also helpful.
- Systems/Process minded individual that is capable of implementing best practices throughout a facility
