Your Unique Role

Join a forward-thinking company that is at the forefront of polymer engineering and custom compounding.

 

Reporting directly to the COO, you will be responsible for working on new product development, validations and monitor daily quality and engineering duties- leading material development projects, providing technical support, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation.

  • Develop Polymer formulation and operate polymer processing equipment such as extrusion, injection molding, and 3D printing.
  • Provide advanced technical support to internal teams and customers, addressing complex material performance issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Utilize knowledge of polymer chemistry, material properties, and processing techniques to optimize product performance.
  • Lead the commercialization of new products working with suppliers and customers and guide new product and process qualifications for medical applications.
  • Monitor the production process, identify, and implement improvements while Managing equipment designs and improvement projects from concept to installation and verification.
  • Provide complex statistical analysis of data using Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Troubleshoot production and lab equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Evaluate regulatory requirements to implement proactive programs to ensure compliance.

Seeking a Candidate With:

  • Master's degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in polymer engineering, with a focus on plastics compounding and material development.
  • Proficiency in polymer chemistry, material characterization techniques, and processing methods. Experience with analytical tools and laboratory equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex material issues.
