With their capabilities, they have developed a reputation for industry-leading expertise across a diverse set of molding and automated assembly processes and technologies complemented by a full suite of value-add services, including design and prototyping.

Your Unique Role

Are you an Engineering professional looking to make a difference with a company that values teamwork, innovation, and professional growth?

 

Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, you will be a critical member of the team leading strategic capital engineering projects, with a particular focus on automated manufacturing equipment and auxiliary systems.

 

You will conceptualize innovative automated manufacturing processes through their execution and provide day to day management of the project ensuring it remains on track, under the budget and deliver on the approved scope.

  • Work with customers as well as the vendors for bringing innovative technological solutions to solve complex manufacturing problems.
  • Drive successful implementation and management of capital projects through overall project management of assigned project’s entire lifecycle including operational readiness of the organization, customer communications, etc.
  • Oversee day to day management of projects with consistent on-site presence and Manage costs to stay within budget constraints with responsibility for cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting and management of contingency and allowances, cash flow etc.
  • Manage project scheduling, define project execution strategies, project planning and scheduling practices, coordination of project activities, and schedule change management techniques.
  • Lead scope development, finalization, stakeholder alignment, scope change management and plan, organize, and oversee the attainment of project performance goals, objectives, priorities, and standards.
  • Proactively identify, manage and report to all relevant parties including upper management, any risks to cost, schedule, scope or intended use of the project or its business case.

Seeking a Candidate With:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous manufacturing or automation engineering experience in plastics or related manufacturing industry.
  • Previous project management experience leading large scale engineering projects.
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing automation, robotics, and equipment engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of plant HVAC, compressed air, cooling towers, and chilled water systems.
  • Solid understanding of product conveying, assembly, packaging, and control.
  • Proven ability to direct, plan, lead, manage and coordinate team to deliver on expectations of diverse set of clients such as Manufacturing, Commercial, Product Development, Quality & Regulatory and Supply Chain.
  • Ability to support travel up to 40%
