Your Unique Role

  • Provide maintenance & repair for tools & dies
  • Maintain maintenance records on all tool & dies and related equipment
  • Diagnose die problems by reading & inspecting blueprints
  • Work with Metal Stamping Quality Assurance or Molding team to fix problems
  • Provide instruction & guidance to Tool & Die Maker A’s
  • Operate & setup various types of machining equipment
  • Program CNC Milling machines using various software
  • Polish steel mold blocks to prints to establish dimensions

Seeking a Candidate With

  • Two year technical or trade school degree preferred
  • 5 to 8 years experience with mold / wax die assembly works
  • Knowledge of assembly / disassembly of mold components, wiring of a hot runner system, & polishing techniques
  • Ability to read & understand blueprints & technical drawings
  • Knowledge of progressive tool & die making & ability to work in close tolerances
  • Ability to fabricate tools & dies
  • Advanced mathematical skills (i.e. algebra, trigonometry)
