Your Unique Role

Join the world leader in Med Device Manufacturing to support the company as the next VP & GM of Molding.

Reporting directly to the President, you will be responsible for developing and achieving annual operating plans for sales, expenses, profitability, and develop business strategies with product and market plans to achieve profitable sales growth:

  • Provide leadership to meet or exceed customer requirements for quality, cost, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage resources and foster cross-functional teamwork to allow for Operational Excellence targets and Policy Deployment goals to be achieved.
  • Plan and achieve continuous improvement targets by utilizing Lean Systems and Six Sigma (GROWTTH) for all operating activities.
  • Manage the operations to meet the requirements of State and Federal regulatory agencies, as well as the requirements of all applicable safety and environmental agencies, including Freudenberg’s Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management System and Environmental Management System requirements.
  • Develop and execute plans for capital expenditures in support of current and future production requirements.
  • Provide leadership in a cross-functional team environment to ensure the flawless launch of new products and processes to production.
  • Support development of new technologies to increase productivity and competitiveness.
  • Establishing job design and ensuring appropriate staffing to deliver the department’s strategic operating plan and short-term objectives while Communicating department goals and objectives to others, ensuring workload is distributed appropriately to achieve goals and objectives.

Seeking a Candidate With:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field (Degree in Plastics Engineering, Polymer Science, or related technical field preferred)
  • Previous progressive experience with medical device and/or healthcare products manufacturing in an engineering and production environment, with successful track record in a leadership position
  • Experience in thermoplastic injection molding processes, related mold design, and automation, preferably as a process/project engineer with hands-on experience.
  • Successful experience leading and developing cross-functional teams and organizational talent
  • Experience with Annual Operating Plans including budgeting, financial statements, balance sheets, P&L; also Capital planning and execution.
  • Demonstrated experience in Lean Systems (GROWTTH) and other continuous improvement activities.
  • Lean Systems Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
