Your Unique Role:

As the Business Development Manager in our Heat Rejection Systems Sales Division, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and profitability of our sales division in the US and Canada. Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a strategic business plan aligned with the Sales Division's goals to achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Cultivating and maintaining a robust opportunity pipeline to ensure continuous business growth and meet sales targets.
  • Identifying and engaging new clients, including end users, system builders, integrators, and EPC contractors in the designated region.
  • Establishing new relationships and nurturing existing ones with customers to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Launching new representatives if required to expand our market presence.
  • Exploring and entering new applications in line with the Heat Rejection Systems Sales Division's strategy.
  • Actively participating in relevant conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Creating compelling sales presentations that effectively showcase the value proposition of the client.
  • Collaborating effectively with decision makers and influencers at various levels to develop and maintain lasting relationships.
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements, providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, calculating quotations, and preparing solutions. You will receive support from Inside Sales and Sales Engineering teams, making teamwork essential.
  • Negotiating tender and contract terms.
  • Maintaining and updating data in the CRM system and fulfilling reporting requirements.

Seeking a Candidate With:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience.
  • Experience in a wide range of sales activities, particularly with engineering companies, contractors, and system integrators. The ability to work with representatives is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to identify customer needs.
  • A disciplined, self-starter approach with a demonstrated ability to interact, listen, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, including listening, written and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in managing complex projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and general computer skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is a plus.
  • Experience with companies producing equipment for Industrial Process Cooling is considered a plus.
