Your Unique Role

Be the dynamic leader to lead a culture change, drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives while engaging and empowering the team with full support from the top down.

  • Reporting to the Vice President of Manufacturing, you will be the one to lead all manufacturing in the plant: production, engineering, maintenance, environmental health & safety, and supply chain while planning, leading, and organizing the day to day operations focusing on meeting primary KPI’s of safety, service, cost, and culture.
  • Develop and implement a high level operations strategy, initiatives, and objectives.
  • Set the safety and quality objectives, making sure the operations are in full compliance of all regulations, as well as making sure the standards for both safety and quality are fully enforced by all.
  • Establish the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Master Plan and assign the leaders to drive the work across the site.
  • Periodic reviews of the results on the KPI’s to ensure the objectives are being met.
  • Making sure that safety actions are implemented to reduce and eliminate the risks on site.
  • Ensuring the operations are fully staffed to deliver the production volume on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Review of the team’s overall performance is in line with their performance plan and results delivered. Establishment of personal goals of the team and working with them to help achieve these goals.
  • Establishes the yearly Capital Expense budget for the Site and defines the specific projects portfolio.
  • Monthly capital expense review to drive projects completion within time and budget.

Seeking a Candidate With:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment with a proven track record of being a change agent and capability to transform culture.
  • Formal training and/or demonstrated capability in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, TPM a plus.
  • Familiar with automated manufacturing equipment, wide web/continuous feed printing processes and related processes and experience in thermal die cutting and web handling in a related flexible packaging trade.
