Your Unique Role
This is a highly visible role within the organization responsible for managing their leading innovation center. The R&D Manager is responsible for providing strong leadership and organization to the R&D team by working hand-in-hand with the VP of Technology to drive company wide formulation improvements.
We are seeking a high caliber, strategic individual that is capable of motivating a team of direct reports to drive the synthesis of custom formulations for wide variety of applications. You will be serving in a hybrid role-both as a key leader, and as the lead technical resource for a thriving medium sized company.

Seeking a Candidate With
You must be a driven Technology leader with the ability to lead a team and offer creative solutions for a wide variety of R&D challenges. Also, you must have:
- Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to lead a team.
- Experience with developing custom formulations for packaging applications.
- Sheet rollstock extrusion, packaging rollstock, or barrier film experience is preferred.
- PhD in chemistry, polymer science, or another related field is required.
